Another letter to Tennessee senators and representatives

Postby benburke » Thu Apr 22, 2010 11:03 am

Dear Honorable Senators and Representatives,

Albert Einstein is quoted as saying that insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting different results. Please pass HB3125 without trying to differentiate restaurants that sell more or less alcohol than food. This would be insanity. It would also invite another judge to rule that the law is too vague. Let's learn from our past mistakes, and do not waste time passing a law that would not stand up to a judge's analysis of ambiguity. Please remove the amendment to HB3125 which will cause this bill to be a waste of your time.

Sincerely,

Ben Burke
