Clarification on Rifle in Vehicle

I have a weapon carry permit for TN.

Is it legal to have a rifle with a round in the magazine only (not in chamber) in my vehicle while visiting and/or camping in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Cherokee National Forest?

I'd like to hear the answer myself. My understanding is yes in TN that would be legal.

As long as you have a permit you can have ammo. in the mag. but not in chamber.You can look at the full version of the law and get the details.

To be more specific, does the TWRA still frown on having a rifle on a WMA out of season or does the bill that passed last year trump this?

If I read correctly in the TN Code it is still against the law to have a rifle or shotgun on a WMA out of season. Is this only for non-permit holders?
