I was in Applebees in Lebanon yesterday. No sign on the door, just a no smoking sign.

I recall reading somewhere that Applebee's announced that they would not post, as a corporate decision.
This is good news, period.

NOT the case at the Applebee's on Shallowford road in Chattanooga. Their sign states "No Firearms Allowed in Restaurant Regardless of Law". I urge everyone to contact corporate and the local location to see if enough public outcry can get this changed. Plus the "regardless of law" statement is very poor wording in my opinion. The local address is: 2342 Shallowford Village Road, Chattanooga, TN 37421

Columbia Applebees not posted. I just wonder if the Chattanooga location is a corporate or Franchise operation? If it is a franchised store then the owner may have decided to ban guns from that particular store.

Just wanted to let everyone know that Applebees on Shallowford Road in Chattanooga responded to my letter and stated that the sign has been removed. They had posted the sign during the period when the law was being changed/voted on.

To my knowledge the Applebee's on North Peters Road in Knoxville is not posted either. I was there after the "guns in restaurants that serve alcohol" law went into effect in Mid July, but have not been there since August.
