Townsend opts out

Townsend opts out. Police chief says that he would have supported it if TN law only allowed concealed carry. With open carry a criminal might shoot the permit holder because he has a gun. How stupid is that comment.

Why does he think most of us carry them concealed? He is just another LEO that thinks no one should have a gun but him and his deputies. I have seen way to many LEO's that felt that way. Who do they think is going to save their butts one day?
