Remember friends. There is a LOT of corruption in law enforcement and courts. My experience and observation is that, unless you want to be the one spending thousands of dollars on attorney's fees and have your live turned inside out as you await the outcome of court fights to save your hide, DON'T depend on this legal system to abide by the laws that allow us to carry in a mall. In these cases where the regulation is not clear cut, DEPEND ON THE IMMEDIATE INTEPRETATION OF THE OFFICER RESPONDING TO BE AGAINST YOU AND YOUR RIGHTS. You will notice I did NOT call it a "justice" system as I have personally found precious little justice in it.
While I carry in malls, what few times I ever go there, even when the mall/store or whatever is obviously out of compliance with the sign ordinance, it could still cost many thousands of dollars in your own defense and many gray hairs in worry awaiting the outcome as we HOPE to be found not guilty.
From the voice of experience. Respectfully, RNMEDIC

Hell, if it saved the life of others and particularly my family, it would be worth it.

Ok, I understand about places like Ruby's where they have a separate entrance, but in some of the malls, they have places that dispense beer in the food court. There is no separate door to go through to the food court. Now, would this be considered under the same roof as the rest of the mall?
