TDOT has issued a letter to TFA which is now available on the TFA web site at
TDOT asserts that any signs were inadvertently placed on the property when the intent was to remind employees that they are not allowed to have firearms on TDOT property.
Despite repeated requests, TDOT has, to date, refused and failed to produce the actual TDOT documents which directed that the signs be placed (someone had to design, specify and order them) and the documents which mandated their removal.
I am looking forward to seeing exactly how inadvertent the decision to infringe on permit holders really was.

Traveling back from MI, I stopped at the rest stop just inside the KY border on I-65. No signs anywhere in regard to handguns; at the main building or at the refreshment building.
