Link: Unfortunately, Riverbend gets added to the list of places we cannot defend ourselves in. If anyone wants to contact Riverbend officials to complain about the anti self-defense policy, their contact information can be viewed at:
I hope people will consider sending an email asking them to reconsider their policy. There are a lot of people at these festivals which can lead to long walks to far away parking spaces. The need for self-defense never ceases.

Most of Riverbend takes place in the City of Chattanooga Parks. Chattanooga took advantage of the opt-out provision, and by an 8 or 9 vote to 0 closed parks to HCP holders. Riverbend otherwise would have no authority that I can tell to forbid carrying of guns. As is, they actually do attendees a favor, as it would be a criminal offense to carry there.
Still, I hate Riverbend like you cannot imagine.
