OK, we've been watching and discussing the banned parks but ignored the elephant standing the int middle of the room.

Well, I'll ask . . . . how the heck are they going to enforce this stupid ban?

Strip Search at the gate?

Vehicle searches in the parking lot.

Someone asked Councilman Maynard about the robberies in Shelby Park a few years ago and the fact that some golfers who snuck their pistols in inside their golf bags stopped the robbers.

Maynard's reply was that it never happened.

Funny, even the anti gun Tennessean paper had an article about the wild west golfers.

So, are we going to have searches at the gate or not?

Maybe they'll have a barrel at each gate and we just toss them in as we enter and retrieve as we exit:-)

Something to think about here. It is a defense under the law of the State of Tennessee if and when you use a handgun in justifiable self defense to any prosecution. Here is the Statute... 39-17-1322. Defenses. — A person shall not be charged with or convicted of a violation under this part if the person possessed, displayed or employed a handgun in justifiable self-defense or in justifiable defense of another during the commission of a crime in which that person or the other person defended was a victim.

NOW what does everyone think about that one. The only way to get prosecuted is to be found out without having to shoot the bad guy! Keep it concealed!
