I was flabbergasted this morning to open the Jackson Sun and read "Our View"! The heading "Follow rule of law regarding gun rights" is good to see, reads kind of like I wrote it.

Has common sense broken out? This is so contrary to the normal bent of the paper. Refreshing, but makes me wonder when the other shoe is going to drop?

That's both astounding (that a newspaper would publish such an editorial position), and great news indeed!

Wow. I'd never thought I read a pro gun editorial from a newspaper. I hope local governments are paying attention.

And its not even April 1!!!

Should have seen the reaction from the "usual suspects" on their forum. I would surmise that there were several self inflicted slit wrist at the Emergency Room.

I was called arrogant, stupid, selfish and ignorant within the span of an hours time.

I had posted how sensible I thought the Editorial was, and, thanked our Council persons for using common sense in the vote on Tuesday.

Dang! You would have thought I was talking about their Mother or something!
