Trousdale CO. opts "Out" of guns/parks

Monday nite, 7/27/09, the Metro Hartsville/Troudale Co. Commission voted 18 -3 to opt out
of the guns in parks bill. Another sad chapter in Trousdale Co. & Tenn.
We have to get this fixed in the next Legislature....assuming we can get enough Legislators
to keep their pants zipped & keep a majority.
Everybody is feeding off this mass hysteria from the media about guns in parks with kids present,
vigilantism, etc.
Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for dinner.
Liberty is a well-armed lamb, contesting the vote.

What really gets me is that none of this is legal.. It violates article I chapter 26 of the State Constitution of TN, & state law prohibiting local municipalities from enacting firearms law. It's rogue government, doing what they want, & betting that nobody will come up with enough $$$ to sue them.. Disgusting behavior..
