I would recommend waiting until local law enforcement has time to get the word out to officers, but when is the effective date of this legislation?

Thanks! I reviewed several news articles. and none of them indicated that. Appreciate that!

Be extremely careful with "park" carry because the 2015 bill refused to address the "school grounds" morphing issue whereby "parks" can suddenly be classified as "school grounds" if a school is using the park and when that happens possession in the park may suddenly become a Class E felony even with a permit.

I sent an email to the Grassmere Zoo before I took my daughter asking about their stand on the matter. And due to all of the "loosely worded" jargon in the bill they simply said that they are in contact with their lawyers on the issue but do not allow permit carriers to have firearms. This was after all the schools were out for the summer but hell...what about a summer school or something special like that showed up? I'm starting to feel the way it was written was to appease some on paper but in reality it's a worthless bill!
