It seems the new Republican majority bears more watching than I had imagined. Not only is a Republican sponsoring this, it is MY Rep, who has historically voted our way on these issues.

I am composing my letter at the moment, though I admit seeing his name as sponsor caused me to look agape at the bill for a moment. I encourage others to send polite e-mails thanking him for his past votes, and asking this to be withdrawn.
