Reminds me of Bush saying he would sign an AWB, if it made it to his desk. harwell may be saying that to appear conservative, while quietly doing us a good ole fashioned Naifeh committee job. Still, we almost pulled the bills to the floor under Oney, we may be able to to force it if she tries that.

I am going to give her the benefit of the doubt at the onset.
The thing to do is contact known like minded with respect to firearms issue Representatives, and see what their take on furthering this kind of legislation is.
Also, waiting to see committee assignments.

Seems a shame to me that we worked for and to elect conservatives to office and now we are told our agenda is not the speaker's agenda. Must have been really important to elect the first female speaker in TN.
