So did the house ever overide the veto on 3012? I didnt see it on the agenda yesterday and yesterday was the last day they were in session. I have been at work all week with limited access and have been out of the loop so to speak.

no. I asked about it today, and a staff member of my state representative called and said they will take it up tomorrow (Friday)

Notice to reconsider the veto was filed tonight, it will be voted on during Unfinished Business in tomorrow's session. Currently, House scheduled to reconvene at 10am tomorrow.

That would be wonderful, but after watching today's seemingly endless session, I have my doubts. They were in session from close to 10:00 A.M. till sometime after 8:00 P.M., starting and stopping three different times, "Unfinished Business" was the LAST thing they dealt with.

To paraphrase the late Lt. Gov. Wilder: "The Legislature is the Legislature".
(When asked why the Senate had done a given thing in a certain way, he would respond by way of explanation: "The Senate is the Senate." Cryptic...but the only explanation he would offer.)
I hope it's sooner, rather than later...but I'm OK with either, as long as 'tis done!

If the dudes would stop acting dumb questions or making their own political statements/schpeel then they would not have to go to 8 pm. They had best be glad I am not speaker of the house or I would have told em to shut up and kept on rolling.
