I heard on teh radio today that this was passed out of the House. I tried to research it online but the latest update says.
Comp. HB Subst (sends SB to dead bill file) 06/03/2009
Placed on Sen. Regular Calendar (1) cal. for 06/03/2009 06/02/2009
Does this mean that it goes to Phils B's desk to either get veto or turn into law?

Right!
That is Tennessee's Firearms Freedom Act - which is similar to the Montana 10th Amendment law passed a few weeks ago.

I have no doubt that Bredesen will veto this one also.
I believe Bredesen is trying to set himself up to look good to the Obama administration in hopes of a future appointment.
It would be a shame to push Bredesen on other U.S. citizens... well other than whatever northern state from which he came.
