There is no thumbprint database. I would want to check but my recollection is that the dealers keep the thumb prints as part of the 4473. Why require by law that they go pull all the 4473's and destroy the thumb prints in 30 days?

I thought the prints went to Nashville.
Can the dealers destroy the thumbprints if they so desire?
