Postby frosty777 » Wed Jun 24, 2009 1:21 pm

i have been wondering about the law being worked on that will allow people with carry permits to have their handguns in any parking lot as long as it stays locked up in the automobile. i have not heard any more about it. i am really interested in this law because where i work has a sign at the gate that no firearms alowed on the property and that means that i cant leave my home armed while on the way to or from work. any info on this law? thanks

It went to summer study as a result of opposition from Fedex (consider whether you continue to use them) and other business entities and interest groups.

In time, it will pass but its going to take significant numbers of employees and business owners speaking out against the money and lobbyists of Fedex and the business owners.

If someone has - or can get - verified contact information for Fred Smith (the CEO) and the board members, we might benefit from a letter/email/phone call campaign particularly from firearms owners who also have needs for Fedex (or its competitors) services.
