Hornady Lock 'n Load conversion for single stage presses

Originally delveloped as a System by Hornady, they are producing an adapter set up for their compeitors presses. Die changes require a mere quater turn and insertion or removal for the change

As a time saving option for those with single stage presses that will accept the conversion, those that have the threaded insert for larger diameter dies such as the RCBS Rock Chucker, Redding Boss etc. Once the adapter insert is installed in the press, each die will require a bushing. There is some small amount of cost associated with the set up of this system, by the ability to switch between dies quickly is a huge advantage.



This system allows a quick insertion and removal of dies after initial set up for depth of working.

In addition, the O-ring set up allows for a small amount of free float of the dies, aiding concentricity by allowing any inconstancy of the threads of the press to be overcome by self alignment.
