The sport.

My thought process is, that it needs youngsters getting involved if we are to keep it alive.

Built these reactive targets with the help of my grand daughter, she picks out the type, I do the mechanical work, she does the painting. They are for use with pellet guns, pistol or rifle. Have a back plate that when hit, allows the target to fall back under spring pressure, the red line out the front is hooked to staging line and lets the target get "reset" remotely. Seeing the squirrel, rabbit, frog whatever drop at the shot, adds some instant gratification to keep the younguns' interest up. Put that high chair up at the shooting bench!

Link to the full technique of construction. I do it a little different, I add the higher base for connection to the hinge, as it lets the target lay flat upon being hit.
