NAIFEH KILLS GUN CONFISCATION PROTECTION BILL

Postby Pat McGarrity » Sat Apr 08, 2006 7:25 pm

On April 5th, 2006, anti-gun Tennessee House Speaker, Jimmy Naifeh, had HB3857 killed in the Constitutional "Protections" Subcommittee, which he has stacked with his leftist, gun grabbing lackeys, including the Chair; Janis -“Why would you go somewhere dangerous where you would need a gun”? - Sontany (D-Nashville).

This bill would have protected you from having your firearms confiscated, and gun sales suspended, in a time of emergency, as the state government of Louisiana did during Hurricane Katrina.

It's our old enemy - APATHY -, among our own, that has allowed this Orwellian nightmare to take place in Tennessee. But Naifeh's latest attack on our Civil Rights reminded me to renew our TFA Family membership:

And, that only four (4) seats stand between the Democrat majority in the Tennessee House, and FREEDOM! If Naifeh fools the voters in his district this year, or not, - he will loose his iron grip on the house, as Speaker, as soon as his party is no longer the majority in the Tennessee House. I encourage all Hunters, Carry Permit Holders, NRA members and anyone who ever wants the Right to own a gun, to join TFA.

“I know that the NRA will be very displeased with me, but I also know that I don't care”.

Anti-Gun Speaker, Jimmy Naifeh, in a Nashville television interview.

Together, we can send this reply to Naifeh's killing our confiscation protection bill - Malone Labe!

Those sorry sacks of worthless flesh! Man that blisters my butt!

It seems real simple, we need to enumerate the names of all of these elected officials, and make darned sure they do NOT remain in office.

I knew something was up when I didn't get a single response from any of the members of the constitutional protections sub committee. Those bastards! They'll get another email from me, and I won't expect a response...

Aha! I found the email-

These are the bastards in the subcommittee:

Rob Briley
rep.rob.briley@legislature.state.tn.us

Kent Coleman
rep.kent.coleman@legislature.state.tn.us

Kim McMillan
rep.kim.mcmillan@legislature.state.tn.us

Eric Watson (something screwy at the site; try both emails)
eric.watson@legislature.state.tn.us
rep.eric.watson@legislature.state.tn.us

Janis Sontany
rep.janis.sontany@legislature.state.tn.us

If I, or anybody else in the group performed or failed at our jobs this miserably, we would not only get fired, but we would likely have a hard time finding anybody else that would hire us. Let's hold these jerkoffs to the exact same standard!

Now I remember one of the reasons I fell away from politics... Man! am I miffed!

I got a phone call within minutes of the tornado hitting the church. As I tail-gated the fire trucks down Church St., I caught a glimpse of the devastation and thought, “Lord, let those people be all right”.

Our building is gone but everyone was safe. As best we could, we went into preservation mode.

The second person to arrive after me was a police officer, deacon, and personal friend, Mike.

The galkers were already straying into the area, blocking the drive to take pictures, and generally making a nuisance of themselves.

Nothing like a police officer to run them off.

Cell phones were useless. I grabbed my butt-set (telephone handset), wire cutters, and a roll of four conductor and went in search of a hot line.

As soon as I found a dial tone people lined up to call loved ones.

My first call was to my mom, just down the street. It took about 25 trys to tag her cell phone. She was O.K. but without power or landline telephone. She had given up on her cell until I managed to get through on it.

My wife was in the basement of Skyline Hospital and planned to stay there with our two children until the “All Clear” signal came.

Another police officer (friend of Mike's) came in. The two LEO's, two other men from the church, and me set up a security perimeter.

I called another friend outside of town and he checked to find my own house intact but without power.

As darkness fell, Mike spoke up and said, “You know what comes next?”. I did.

Janis Sontany once asked, “Why would you go somewhere dangerous where you would need a gun”? Well I personally don't go to those places. But sometimes, they come to you.

I called my mom again, and she said that her neighborhood was pitch black and groups of strangers were walking the streets, looking in windows, and trying doors.

By way of back streets, front yards, and riding the rear bumpers of fire trucks and emergency crews, I made it to my house.

I took my dad's old .38 from the gun safe, checked my wife's 9 mm in the locker, grabbed my 870 shotgun (I was already wearing my .40 Glock) , and took off again.

I could not get through the police barricade to my mom's so I went back to the church and “borrowed” a police officer.

After delivering the .38 to my mom, I returned to the church.

At ten o'clock, I checked in with my wife who had made it home. She said that strange cars were coming up the drive and shining lights around the area (we live over a ¼ mile off the road) but she had the trusty 9 and she and the kids would be just fine.

Another call to my mom revealed that gangs were still cruising her neighborhood (so much for police barricades). One grundgy fellow came to her door. Without opening it, she appeared at the side window and informed him that she was fine, that she had plenty of food, water, . . . and ammo. He excused himself and left QUICKLY.

Mike and the other police officer had to go to work but we had more church members to stand guard. One man was empty handed so one of the officers “loaned” him a spare gun from the patrol car.

Around 1 am the galkers left. Soon the predators appeared.

Our show of ARMED force allowed us to maintain control of the situation. We were able to be polite but firm with people.

We were polite when the visitors offered us food, blankets, and coffee. We were even more polite when they needed food, blankets, and coffee. We were very firm when they asked too many questions about the computers, sound equipment, and money that may have been left in the building.

Daylight took forever. On Saturday morning, I was relieved by other church members and went home to find my buddy watching over my family with his own trusty little enforcer.

Sunday night, I finally get on a working computer to see that the slimy lizard, Naifeh, had killed HB3857.

I have a message to the cesspool swimmer on capital hill; You'll find these Tennessee Boys a DAMN site tougher than the ones in Louisiana.

Well my friend, find a Republican in your area running against a Democrat who has a chance and put the time/money/whatever you can in to support him. As long as it isn't some hard lefty Republican, it will help shift the numbers away from Naifeh. This is one of the rare times I simply go party line. There are some good Democrats out there (Frank Buck, just to name one) who have helped us, but being a D they keep Naifeh in power. In the end, they do more harm than good to us. I hate sounding like a GOP hack, but we need more Republicans in the TN House.

Or, you can find a Republican who is running against a Naifeh Republican, and help the good guy beat the RINO. We are doing that over here, trying to get Mike Bell in over Bob McKee.

If Naifeh is stripped of his position, I plan to make the trip to Nashville to greet a certain Rep., and former Speaker. I envision it happening like so: I walk up to him, smile, look friendly, "Nice to meet you, Rep. Naifeh. I hear so-and-so is the new Speaker. Glad I helped put them there. Bye now." I might be a bit more subtle, but I like to dream about poking him good with the stick.
