Why does TFA not support legislation to offer a lifetime carry permit?

TFA focus is on constitutional carry but with an inexpensive and affordable optional permit for reciprocity purposes. As to a lifetime permit, the content of this bill indicates that the fees are set too high.

Let's put it this way... I am in my early 30's and most likely I will die before I could come out better financially by getting it over just paying $50 every 5 years.
