TFA Family membership

I am considering renewing with a TFA Family membership. My son, that I would like to include in this membership does not live at my residence. Would he qualify as a TFA member under the Family membership?

TFA liberally applies the family membership status to include family members who are, for example, in college or professional school. If they have moved beyond that point and established an independent residency, we ask that they have an individual membership BUT we apply the honor system even to that determination.
