Firearm Possession legality.

Greetings

According to my understanding of ATF Publication 5300.18 I am legally allowed to purchase and possess both handguns and long guns as a nonimmigrant alien resident in Tennessee on an E2 visa at a ranch that we own and is our primary residence as long as I have a valid hunting license. Have I understood this correctly and are there any other laws that I need to be aware of? I have no desire to either accidentally or deliberately break any laws.

I very much appreciate your assistance with this.
