I have in this morning's local paper, a sample ballot that lists the following question, "Shall Sharon Gail Lee be retained or replaced in office as a Judge of the Tennessee Supreme Court?"
Here is my question. Where can I get information on her opinons, votes, etc? Does anyone know her record on 2nd Amendment issues? I do not know anything about this justice and need to make an informed decision for a proper vote. Any Help here?

They are "appointed" and in a poor effort to comply with the state constitution the citizens are given only a "retention vote".
I would vote to remove all of them based on that one fact.

I always vote "no" on retention also. We have far too many entrenched politicians, and just because they wear a black robe doesn't mean they are not a politician. Public office should be a sacrificial duty to be left as soon as practically possible, not a "gravy-train" tenured entitlement.

One more person who always votes no.
I do it for John's stated reason, and the fact that I don't want them comfortable.

Sounds like a no vote for me again this year. I usually vote to throw them all out, but saw this in the ballot and thought that I should ask someone that may know better than I. Thanks for the responses.

I voted no and so has everyone I've talked with regarding the subject.
