Handgun carry permit problem.

Postby sampietrof » Wed Sep 16, 2009 8:23 am

Gentlemen:
My question.
If as a teenager you had a outstanding charge against you, but their was no disposition should this keep you from obtaining a carry permit. I can go into greater details if necessary. I was sixteen at the time in Gulfport, Ms. and will be 70 this coming Jan 4th 2010, with no other problems. Need help in overcoming this problem because I did receive a letter giving me ninty days to clear it up. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

No disposition, as in you never pleaded guilty, or the case was dismissed?

It all depends on the law in Mississippi.

In TN, it could be sealed and/or expunged (with limited exceptions)
