Carry in doctor offices

Postby taren10mm » Fri Dec 26, 2008 9:15 pm

Has anyone had good/bad experiences carrying in doctors offices? If so -and they were bad - how did were they handled? I've had a bad experience, and would appreciate any advice I can get.

First time my Doctor (from Canada) saw my carry gun he was very interested and asked many questions, specifically about his gun rights as a legal alien. The next time he frowned and was very standoffish though said nothing. Don't know what happened to him between the two visits. A nurse at same clinic saw the pistol and said that she wished she was allowed to carry there (Not posted ergo must be in employee handbook) as they'd been confronted by a druggie in the office.

As a student I usually visit student health, located on the University Campus.

I have carried without incident when I donated blood/sold plasma. On the plasma, they do a partial physical, and my gun was noticed. They did not say a word.

I did...for some reason it didn't paste. It is really just me chronicling my experiences in Nursing school as it relates to firearms, and responses from others.

Here we go again...
