I work at a car manufacture in Spring Hill Tn so far there have been two firings of employees in the past month by reason of having a firearm in the parking lot, One by the individual boasting to the wrong person who called an aware line and the other a disgruntled spouse calling an aware line. My understanding of the Tennessee "Guns in Trunks law" says this to be improper or unlawful. Is that still the case after the recent change to the law? And I am in an advocate role at the location so who might I contact for clarification or who could I refer these individuals to. Please message me if possible with a person to contact. I realize Mr Harris is probably busy with other issues mostly. thanks Don

You are correct, this site does have very little activity and it is a pure shame too. The TFA is our own mini NRA here in Tennessee. This site serves as an information stronghold for what is going on and what may go on when it comes to our gun rights. John Harris constantly is fighting an uphill battle and RINOS are a tough bunch to get around. There is a herd of them in Nashville.
Here is some information for you. Hope it helps a little.

Thanks reached out to Mr Harris directly. This is a precedent setting case at a major automobile mfg. plant I would have thought there would be more interest. Our Union has their own lawyers they can use but would have thought a more experienced firearms lawyer might make himself known. Case will be heard in Maury County by Bobby Sands at Chancery court. We need a win on this for the employee's sake and all of our sake's should we be in the same position. Like you stated with all the RINO's in every level of local and National government it seems it doesn't matter what party wins they are all bought and paid for and do not represent the people who elected them.

since unions are automatically run by democrats, I would assume they'd rather fight the employee on this one.

I wanted to follow up to comment on the site. It seems to be the nature of the beast that this forum has suffered somewhat from the popularity of Facebook. Be that as it is, TFA is still supporting and providing the forum and is will to continue to add sections and content.
