Looking for Suggestions

In the last few weeks we have had several people join the T.F.A. and i have had one tell me they were going to sign up for the Merchant Membership.The ones that have joined have done so from word of mouth.A fellow member and myself have carried the foldouts to the local gun stores,we have a booth at the Obion County Fair in Union City Aug.10-Aug.15,Richard Archie will be here Monday Night Aug.10th.I am looking for suggestions on other ways to spread the word.Media is not really an option at this point we are still working on them.After the park vote they only printed one letter that was pro-gun.I would like to have a gun show here but dont know who to contact,a show here would pull from Obion,Lake,Gibson,Dyer,and Weakly counties in TN.it would also get some from Kentucky.If you have any suggestions let me know.

Rex (RK Shows) and David Goodman (Goodman shows) both support TFA. I would touch base with each of them.

Also, you might contact Bob Pope (formerly the Bob Pope Gun Shows). He could give advice on how to set up a local show. Might also check with the guys that run the show in Sparta 2x per year. It is done by the local sportsman's group as a fund raiser.

I will also add that I have had several conversations with Bob Pope about the possibility of TFA doing some type of show or shows in parts of the state where the larger shows do not typically go. It would be tied to a regional TFA meeting and probably a one day event.

I have exghanged e-mails with Mr.Goodman in the past .He was very helpful but it has not worked out yet.
