I was not surprised when I heard that she had said this. Disappointed but as with some many liberals their true colors surface from time to time and its like an eerie specter rising in the mist of the night foreboding that no good can come of this "thing."

Actually, its quite offensive. The thought and perspective she expresses, even in jest, are offensive.

1) Does she suggest that only females with proven anatomical characteristics can vote "appropriately" in her eyes?

2) What exactly is she looking under the skirt / kilt to locate as there may be more than one denizen of that domain?

3) Are the only telling anatomical features of women, in her opinion, shielded by the skirt?

4) Is she suggesting that women vote differently than men because they have or don't have certain anatomical features?

5) Is she suggesting that anatomy is a more significant predictor of votes than say common sense, education, intellect or constitutional comprehension?

6) Is she looking for a feature or a disease?

7) Does she not trust the honor system and/or the signs on the restroom doors as accurate predictors?

Are men incapable of voting correctly because they are men?

9) What about women who wear slacks?

Obviously, if Ms. Sontany thinks that correct voting is based upon something that might be ascertained by examining the regions below the skirt waist and above the hemline, perhaps that explains her own voting record....
