I can't believe the liberal rag Jackson Sun printed that. She will most likely be seeking employment elsewhere soon.

That article came out the same day my Letter to the Editor was run. I was really surprised to see it, just below the fold, front page. They had a picture of a single action revolver with a 8"+ barrel and pewter grips laying across a Permit Application above the fold as the lead in, and a graph of the local counties, their last year app. #'s and this years, and the percentage increase contained in the article itself.

Well done article, and great quotes from the Sheriff and the Police Chief.

Normally the Sun tends to have a more anti-gun lean, this was a very nice surprise.

We have Chief Staples on the Frankie Lax radio program next Tuesday aftrenoon. Wonder what line of questioning would be best for our effort? He seemed very supportive of HCP in the article. I had kind of spanked Chiefs in my letter, as a result of the stunt Bredesen pulled at his veto photo op. Seems like a chance to pull back some and bridge build maybe.
