Got a PT 111 that I have a problem with the safety. Sometimes it works fine and others it will not come all of the way to off, it hangs up aboput half way to the off position. I have found that if I pull the trigger back slow when it is in the half off position until I hear a click I can then push the safety off all of the way. Anybody ever had this problem and what is the fix?
I know I could send it back to Taurus, but that might get it fixed or maybe not since it does not do this all of the time, only after it sits for a few days sometimes. And shipping is expensive especially if it does not get fixed the first time.

I had a PT111 and never had a problem with the safety, I didn't like the trigger to much slack. Sorry I can't help but maybe someone will have an answer.
