Free Expert Shooting Lessons!

Yes, free expert shooting lessons & no, they're not from me.............
All one has to do is drive to Dickson, TN & take along eye/ear protection, maybe a lawn chair & some water & that's it. No admission, no passing the hat, nada.
Check out directions & for the Oct. date of the TN Sectionals.
This is a regional shooting competition for USPSA, also known as "IPSC". These shooters will be the cream of the crop, fast, smooth AND accurate. They will be shooting everything from a box stock Glock/1911 up to the so-called "race guns" complete with 30rd mags, optics & 4 or 6 port compensators.
Now, how does all this translate into "free expert shooting lessons"? Simple, you can simply watch a squad of shooters go thru a stage. Then you meander on over to the next squad & watch them do the same stage or a completely different stage. You can watch close up & personal how these guys handle any & all sorts of feeding issues, see how they handle muzzle flip & are able to do a double tap in a VERY short time (splits), etc.
You'll be able to see someone perform & think to yourself, "I hope *I* handle a reload that smooth" or "I hope I don't blow a tap/rack/bang drill like he did." You'll see a clinic on gun grip as well as watching weak-hand only shooting. About the only way one could NOT learn something would to be Ray Charles.
These shooters are approachable & are more than happy to share their knowledge to those whom ask politely. One can agree or disagree, be comfortable or not comfortable with whatever they're told/shown & they're not made fun of nor belittled. There's no "I know everything" ego going on with the big dogs either.
So, do yourself a favor & come spend a couple of hours with us. We're shooting on both Sat & Sun but be sure to check the start times! Can't often find something really worthwhile that's free anymore.
