DIY gun kits???

What about these KT-Ordinance gun kits. I heard their advertisements that they make guns needing a certain amount of machining to be completed as set forth by the ATF. Sold in this condition the purchaser doesn't need to apply with the Brady form and the gun has no serial numbers. My questions are:
1. Does anyone have experience with these kits? Are they quality guns?
2. Would a serial number be required after the gun is completed.
3. Would you ever be allowed to sell the gun to a qualified buyer.
4. If you ever had to use it would the lack of serial numbers cause a red tape-arama making it hard to get it back?

I don't have the web site but you can google KTOrdinance. I think it stands for Kelley Tools. Anyway I have friends with milling machine and I think it would be a lot of fun to build your own gun.

Kristi-Tool has been around for a while. Their products are top-notch quality. A friend bought a .45 frame which had a minor defect and they replaced it immediately.

Any person not prohibited from owning a firearm may make a firearm for their own use. Although it is not required that any markings be on it, ATF recommends that the name of the manufacturer and a serial number be engraved. You MAY sell a home-made firearm. The key is that you may NOT be in the business of doing so without a Federal license to manufacture firearms.
There are other restrictions regarding machineguns, short-barreled shotguns, etc.
