question about selling a handgun

I have a new 357 (and a shotgun) that I purchased locally. I want to sell it but don't know the best way to do this.
Someone told me I can't advertise in the newspaper. I'd appreciate any suggestions on the best way to sell a handgun?

online is the best way.

Craigslist does not allow firearm sales. Although many do it with code words. "Hunting equipment", "security equipment" or " Home defense items", ETC.

Use the online sites to advertise, but i like doing firearm purchases and sells face to face. Online money transfers can be iffy. Just keep it in Tennessee with a TN resident that is not prohibited from buying or owning a firearm. I always ask to see a drivers license and i always get a bill of sale. CYA.
