So Ophelia (sp?) Ford beat Henri Brooks in the Democrat primary for senate district 29 by 20 votes.

I suppose we might have been better off with Brooks leaving the state house and in the senate as a new senator with (maybe) fewer contacts.

Another scenerio is that she runs for the senate and loses. Would she have been required to resign from the house?

I was hoping Brooks would get the nod which would get her out of the House.
