Kalabus, possibly a pre'06 battle.

One of our own, Elizabeth Kalabus is running for House of Representatives, District 22. She tried to start a chapter in SE Cleveland, but she hasn't posted on this forum in over a year. Whatever happened, she is on our side, and seems to be a very conservative and could prove to be a good Rep to have.

She lists us as an organization she is a member of, but the TFA has not endorsed her. Is there a way for us to do this?

As I understand our protocol the TFA normally waits until after party primaries before endorsing a candidate. Each candidate is asked to complete our survey and the questions and answers are posted for voters to see.

Just visited her site and discovered there is to be special elections for District 22 (Meigs, Bradley and Polk counties) because of Chris Newton's resignation.

Primary elections are directed to be held on 29 November 2005 with the general election to be held 12 January 2006 http://www.kalabus.com/media/writofelection.doc

I suggest we all get behind Mrs. Kalabus. An endorsement from TFA would certainly be appropriate.
