In the Chattanooga area, the public range located at Prentice Cooper WMA on Suck Creek Mountain, offers 100 yard and 50 yard rifle ranges. A handgun range is also available. All shooting lines are covered, and concrete shooting benches and chairs are provided. Target boards are placed on all ranges. The range is operated and patroled by the TWRA. Hours are Monday and Thursday through Saturday, daylight to dark. Sunday, 1pm till dark. Closed Tuesday and Wednesday.

Good place to shoot. Only minutes from downtown Chattanooga.
