Hello everyone,
I am an Ohio Conceal Carry permit holder and will be visiting your wonderful state(Pigeon Forge)next week. My question is...What is the law regarding locking a handgun in a car? Is locked in a glove box ok? If legal does it have to be unloaded? The reason I am asking is for the prohibited areas, restaurants, parks, ect. I tried packing.org and did not find info. If you have a permit and Tn. honors said permit, you should be able to just lock it in the glove box. That's what I do when going into restaurants and such...

I will say this though, if you have NRA stickers or something indicating there may be a gun in your vehicle I'd probably go with the "don't tell" option and just keep the gun on me. Much safer than risking some criminal piece of trash breaking in a stealing it..
