When I take my kids fishing at J. Percy Priest, am I allowed to have my carry gun with me?
Also does anyone have the link where I can look up these law online?
Thanks

I wish I knew the answer for you. HOWEVER, a thought for the old gray haired gunny. If you KNOW it is legal, STILL carry concealed. No need inviting trouble from some anti-gun "enforcement" member on a day out with the children. Hope it turns out to be legal for you and all of us, and hope you and your children catch a big ice chest of nice fish.
Respectfully, RNMEDIC

TVA = TN Valley Authority
They control most of if not all of the dams on the lakes in TN. I think they contol a strip of land around the lakes also. Thats what I am not sure about. Is the shore the property of the TVA or the local county...

Unless it's posted I wouldn't think there will be a problem. But I don't know for sure.

I agree with RNmedic , always keep it concealed. I know I would hate to be the test case to see whether it is legal or not.

When I talk on this topic in the classes I teach, I remind them that they do not have to carry "the most expensive" gun they own when on the lakes. An option is to carry a less expensive one - but one that will sink!
