I have about a year before I will depart for overseas. My HCP will expire 4 months into my tour. I want to make sure that I get my renewal sent in with plenty of time so I dont have to go through all of the stuff for an initial when I get back.
How early can I start my renewal process?

My HCP was due to be renewed in Nov and received my renewal form the end of Aug.. I went to MV station on Aug. 29, 2011 and paid my money with application and had picture taken. Received my renewed HCP today 9/13/11. Not to bad 15 days.
