The expiration of the AWB would return the law to the "pre-ban" days (unless there are any vestigage provisions that I am not aware of at this time). Thus, it would be as if the law had never existed (except of course for those convicted during its pendency). Thus, one would surmize that a magazine marked "LEO" would be of no more significance than one marked "HCI" or "Clinton was here"

While it is important to contact your Federal Representative and both Senators and urge them to let the AWB expire we need to be aware that other bills have been introduced that would replace the AWB and none have a "sunset" clause and some expand the ban to more firearms. Communicate with your U.S. Representative and your Senators, urging them to oppose current legislation seeking to reauthorize and expand the 1994 Clinton gun ban—H.R. 2038, S. 1431, and S. 1034, respectively.
