A reporter told me about some pending legislation...

When she called to ask my opinion on it. It was the first I had heard of it, and in hindsight I kick myself for not getting the bill number.

It would make carrying a firearm without a permit a Class B misdemeanor instead of C, and had other punishments involved. She said it was primarily aimed at criminals, but this part would hit people who were not criminals as well.

Has anyone else heard of this legislation, or know anything about it?
