John,
I think a tactics session regarding allocation/application of assets regarding happenings on the hill is an excellent idea. It might be worth having some intel information handy for review regarding how folks have voted. As an example: Clearly stands with us regarding (fill in the blank); Clearly stands against us regarding (fill in the blank); Position not clear regarding (fill in the blank.) With information like that, we could better apply our time regarding calls, letters, and e-mails. I'm all for letting our representatives know how we feel regarding the issues, but perhaps we could focus on the fence-sitters and get them to realize that our side of the fence is the side on which they should stand. It never hurts to reinforce our stance with our pro-TFA position reps, but perhaps more energy should be applied to the ones of which we are unsure.
Regards,
Mike
