Just thought I would give a nudge. (Iam not an official for TFA, just a member.)
Third Tuesday of the month arriving fast.
Still at Shoney's next to the stadium?
Still at 6:30 PM?
Don't have to be a member of TFA.
In fact, anyone interested in "Gun Rights" is welcome.
To the MOD:
George

Correct - I should have got a post up in the forum section but I spent most of the week in court and it slipped past me.
Topic is dueling by David Lewis. David did his Master's thesis at Vanderbilt on this topic and probably qualifies as an expert on the issue.

Thank you again to those who helped make the September Nashville chapter meeting a fun and useful event. David Lewis did a great job talking about the history of dueling in Tennessee and several other states, including sharing with us why the land just north of the Tennessee - Kentucky border is known as the "dueling grounds" racetrack. Special thanks also to Mr. Hume Parks for bringing a display set of replica dueling pistols matching those used in the Hamilton-Burr duel.
If my count is correct we had at least 5 people who had their first attendance last night at a chapter meeting. I hope the found it worth their time and will return.
Plans are at present to have the October meeting (21st of October) as an open floor - open forum in honor of the elections which are scheduled shortly thereafter.
Shoney's has been a gracious host. Thanks Julius.
