WHAT: TFA Nashville Chapter Monthly Meeting

Effective immediately the Nashville Chapter will always meet the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 6:30pm at the APPS Training office conveniently located right near the intersections of Interstates 24, 40 and 65.

Folks, this chapter really needs warm bodies in seats on the meeting nights. I realize that it is a long haul for some of you to get there and that we've all got "life" pressing in on us and demanding our time for other things... but the simple fact of the matter is that without participation from the members, the Nashville chapter will eventually wither and die again.

We don't want that to happen - right?

PLEASE. Mark it on your calendar to be there in October. We are moving toward electing chapter officers in the first of 2008 and we are trying to plot the course of direction for the months ahead. I promise we aren't going to sit around and waste your time at these meetings.

We hope to have Mr. Harris (lawyer supreme and TFA Executive Director) on hand again in October to give a topical presentation. This depends greatly on his own schedule, but if Mr. Harris cannot attend then we will have another guest speaker.

Come out and join us. You are needed!

I have it on my calendar and plan to be there. I was present for the first few chapter meetings this year and then had to take a leave of absence to be with my grandmother as she went through the hospice program. She passed away September 11 and I wanted to say thank you for the many kind words, notes and flowers that were sent by TFA members.
