Baton class offerec
Posted: Sat Jun 11, 2005 2:13 pmIt's illegal to carry a "baton", straight or expandable, in TN, unless you have taken a certification class from a TN State Certified trainer. Cliff Bryant, Director of TAC2, has offered to teach a “baton†class to the Lakeway TFA chapter. The charge is $40 for the approximate 4 hour class, which includes issuance of the Certification Card. No state permit is required, just the one time certification. The minimum number to make the class worth while is 6. This notice is to see if there is sufficient interest of the members and friends for us to host such a class.
