All:
This email is going to the TFA Shelby County Chapter email list and the list of NRA Frontlines Volunteers in the Seventh Congressional District.
First, a round of congratulations that we as gun owners and freedom loving Americans made our views known about the If you hadn't spoken up to your Representatives and Senators, it would have been renewed. Keep up the good work, because the fight is not over.
Second, please make sure that Thursday night's TFA meeting is on your calendar. Several of us gather before the meeting to have dinner in the Liberty Grille, so please join us.
Third, plan to purchase your tickets at the TFA meeting. If you miss the TFA meeting, get by any area gun shop at yoru earliest convenience. Look at it this way. Here is your chance to have dinner with 400 other folks interested in promoting the shooting sports, hear of the NRA, have a chance to win a $1000 cash prize, a $1500 cash prize, or a $2500 cash prize. That's right, $5000 in cash prizes, plus the chance to buy donated items at auction. Your $60 ticket is well worth the value. Help the Memphis committee bring this event up to the next level and help them climb to one of the Top Ten events in the nation.
By the way, take a look at what Chris Cox at the NRA Annual Meeting in Pittsburgh in April. Be sure to click on the video.
Fourth, note there there is a lot to be done with the political season in full swing. opened his headquarters in Bartlett Friday night, and two TFA members were there to offer a show of support for the Senator. Leader , , and candidate were also in attendance. Folks, Mark Norris is a genuine supporter of our rights, and I urge you to carve out some time to work for him. His headquarters is 3 minutes from Range USA. On Saturday, by coincidence, the same two TFA members went to Tipton County to offer a show of support for Dr. Jesse Cannon, who is running against Speaker Jimmy Naifeh. Dr. Cannon aprreciated the support he has received from all TFA members since he spoke to us in January. And, the breaking news is this on his web site.
Finally, Jim Jamieson will be having a lit drop in District 89 this Saturday. Volunteers will meet at Grahamwood Elementary School, corner of Summer Ave. and Graham, at 8:30 am. Everyone will probably be able to complete the area selected in 3-4 hours.
Keep up the good work, and full speed ahead.
