July Gun Rights Advancement Opportunities
Posted: Mon Jun 25, 2012 12:46 am
There are races targeted (pun intended) by the TFA and NRA in the August 2nd election that will have consequences for years to come. In at least three Tennessee House Districts, gun owners have no representation; districts 45, 81 and 96. There are other districts where representatives, complicit in killing pro-gun legislation that could have save lives, do not have opponents. Therefore, the races where there are opportunities to replace them with Constitutionalist that are TFA and NRA members, are some of the most important races in Tennessee history.
As most of us know, Reps Maggart and McManus killed our Safe Commute bill in committee to hide their anti-gun actions from their constituents.
Jim Harrell and Courtney Rogers are their pro-gun primary opponents:
1. Jim Harrell:

2. Lt. Col. Courtney Rogers (USAF Ret.):

If imitation is the greatest form of flattery, Reps Maggart and McManus must be paying great homage to their role model; former House Speaker and "Grim Reaper of Gun Rights in Tennessee", Jimmy Naifeh (D-Covington). They both killed pro-gun rights legislation in committee, hiding from a recorded anti-gun vote just like the master of this political parlor trick, Speaker Emeritus Naifeh.
Speaking of Rep. Naifeh, we have an opportunity to elect a pro-gun statesman to the seat Naifeh occupied so long that he became the poster child for term limits. Rory Bricco is running in the Covington area, District 81.

Any help you can provide to these candidates would help make our state a safer, more free place to live. Specifically, we need to know who may have sent donations to Jim Harrell's campaign through the TFA PAC so we can make sure your contribution goes to his campaign. Please reply to this and we'll make sure Jim gets the help you intended.
Also, I have a trip out of town that has been planned for months and will not be available to be a range officer at Rory's event next Sunday:
A 'SHOOT' WITH "THE BRICK"
Competition Shoot at Range USA!
July 1 -- On Sunday, July 1, 2012 there will be a 'Shoot' for Rory at Range USA, 2770 Whitten Rd., Bartlett, TN (map). Registration will begin at 6PM and the event will end at 8:30PM. Those who know and support Rory know that he is a strong supporter of our right to bear arms! Rory "The Brick" Bricco is a friend to the gun owner but he needs your help to get to Nashville to stand up for you. This is your chance to help him in this heated battle for Tipton county's 81st District House seat to be your representative while having a great evening of fun at the range! A buffet meal is included. $100 a head. RSVP please--901-825-8908 or email News@rorybricco.com.
Please contact Rory's campaign if you can help with, and/or attend this event.
It's frustrating that we must organize to protect ourselves from our so called "representatives". Your contribution of time, or financial contribution, is greatly appreciated!
