May 20th, 2004 Meeting - Lee Robinson, Guest Speaker
Posted: Thu Apr 29, 2004 9:16 pm
The May meeting of the TFA Shelby County Chapter will be Thursday, May 20th at 7 PM at RangeUSA in Bartlett. The meeting will be in the classroom next to the Liberty Grille.
Our speaker for the program will be Lee Robinson, a local NRA Training Counselor, and his topic will be "The Impact of Marksmanship on My Life".
Lee's parents were shooters, and they would take him to the range when he was growing up. He participated as a Junior, was on the Marine Corps Rifle Team in 1982, and later served as an officer in charge of the Marine Corps Range at Quantico, VA. He moved to Memphis about 12 years ago to fly for FedEx, and became involved with the Wolf River Rifle Team. Very soon he'll be going through the Federal Flight Deck Officer program, now that cargo pilots are eligible.
Look for a good program with plenty of Q & A, especially if we ask him about the dangers of the liberals winning the election. And, if you have sons or daughters interested in shooting or shooting teams, please be there to talk to Lee.
Also, note that the next FONRA planning meeting is this Tuesday night, May 4th.
So, make a difference and come on out to these events, and bring a friend.
See you there.
