The Greater Bartlett Council of Neighborhood Associations:
http://www.neighborhoodlink.com/bartlett/gbc/
will host a forum on parks carry, next Tuesday, 8-18-09 at 7:00 PM at the Civic Center next to the new library, at Stage and Sycamore View Street, next to the railroad tracks, community room A.
I will be presenting the facts relating to parks safety and carry permit holders and specific area crimes in parks will be recounted by veteran MPD Detective, Jim Williams (Ret).
It is my understanding that Bartlett Parks Officials, who support the ban, will present their case and some Bartlett Aldermen will be in attendance as well. I hope to see you there!
In Liberty,
Pat McGarrity
At Your Service - Shelby County TFA Director
